The future of this project

Hello everyone, as some may have noticed I was not able to make the latest version of the various Icinga packages available; it has become more and more difficult to build them as the Icinga project stopped making their rpm specification files private and I'm left to speculations about the changes which are required to get a working build process.
I leave it to everyone's choice if they want to continue using Icinga as their monitoring solution, I just wanted everyone to know I can't guarantee anymore to keep up with the latest package versions. -

Anyone who has followed the discussion on Github and other developments in general must have realised that the Icinga2 project especially for EL users is pretty much dead, not to mention EL in general.
As recommendation I can advice to move to Debian based linux distributions and Zabbix as monitoring suite.
That being said, the only activity on this forum lately was spam, so the spam content and the respective accounts have been deleted and the registration of new accounts set to disabled.
